Former USSR President, Mikhail Gorbachev Dies At 91

After a severe and protracted illness, Mikhail Sergeevich Gorbachev passed away this evening, according to the Central Clinical Hospital.

Gorbachev made it easier for Eastern and Western Germany to reunite.
Mikhail Gorbachev, the final leader of the USSR, passed away at age 92 following a protracted illness, according to the Central Clinical Hospital.

This year marked the 91st birthday of the former USSR leader.
