Lawyer Stabbed To Death By His Estranged Wife In Kebbi

Farida Abubakar, 30, was detained by the Kebbi State Police command in connection with the murder of her estranged husband, Attahiru Ibrahim Zagga.

Ibrahim, a Magistrate judge with the Kebbi State judiciary, was fatally stabbed on Thursday night at his Birnin Kebbi home, according to the Command’s spokesperson, SP Nafiu Abubakar, who made this announcement in a statement on Friday, August 26.

“On August 25, 2022, at approximately 21:40 hours, police officers assigned to the Divisional Police Headquarters in Gwadangaji received information that a suspected strange noise had been heard from a neighbor’s house, that of one Attahiru Ibrahim “M” of Alieru Quarters, Birnin Kebbi, and that the neighbor had been unable to explain the noise.
