Man Confronts Police Officers For Asking Him For Hackney Permit

According to IGBERETV, a video of a guy arguing with police officials about their request for a hackney permit is going viral online.

The driver stated in the video that he is operating a private vehicle and shouldn’t be questioned for identification. However, he was overheard one of the policemen warning him that he would “regret it.”

Another document needed to travel freely and unmolested on Nigerian highways, notably those in Lagos, is the hackney permit. The hackney permit, to put it simply, is only a permission for vehicles that fall under a specified weight range to transport products inside a state.
