Mexican Woman Looks Like Real Life Vampire After 49 Body Modifications

Maria José Cristerna began her body modification journey at the age of 14, and after tattooing 99% of her body, she was awarded the official title of woman with the most body modifications.

A woman who holds the official world record for the most body modifications has urged young people to think twice before undergoing “irreversible” procedures.

Maria José Cristerna, from Mexico, has 49 body modifications in total, including implants in her forehead and arms, piercings, and a split tongue.

With tattoos covering 99% of her body, the Mexican’s outlandish appearance has earned her the moniker “real life vampire.”

However, speaking on the Guinness World Records YouTube channel, the tattoo enthusiast has advised others to tread carefully after receiving the official record for the woman with the most body modifications in the world.

“The advice I would give is to think about it carefully because it is irreversible,” she advised.

“I like how I look, but you have to understand that there are young people who are open to tattoos, piercings, and everything.”

“It’s become fashionable, so we may reach a point where it’s no longer what we want, and we may no longer like it.”

“So you have to think about it a lot to love it.” And be able to defend it your whole life.”

Despite this, Maria admitted that she would continue to enjoy modifying her appearance, observing: “If I feel well and my health allows it, I’ll carry on doing it.”

During the video, the so-called ‘vampire lady’ took the Guinness World Record cameras on a tour of her heavily altered appearance, and revealed that she had started her modification journey at the age of 14.

Maria described how she had started with tattoos, and claimed that “99%” of her body is currently covered, before explaining which updates had been the most painful.

“One of the most painful modifications were the implants in my arms, and also the tattooing of the eyeballs,” she said.
