Passengers Escape Death As Two Vehicles Plunge Into Swamp In Enugu

Passengers were all rescued unhurt after two vehicles plunged into a swamp along Nike-Opi Road in Enugu State.

According To An Eyewitness, Ferdinand Abugu, the accident involving a commercial bus and a Corolla car, happened on Friday evening, August 26, 2022. 

“This Accident happened this evening along the Nike -Opi road, around Ekwegbe. The bus was coming back from a burial at Alor Uno or so, the bus belongs to EFAC UNEC. The Corolla car seems to have lost control while avoiding a porthole and hit the bus and both of them entered the swamp. Thank God no life was lost as all the passengers were rescued.”

After two automobiles crashed into a marsh on the Nike-Opi Road in Enugu State, the passengers were all saved unharmed.

A commercial bus and a Corolla car were involved in a collision on Friday, August 26, 2022, according to an eyewitness, Ferdinand Abugu.

“This evening’s accident occurred near Ekwegbe on the Nike-Opi route. The bus, which is owned by EFAC UNEC, was returning from a funeral at Alor Uno, or so. Both the bus and the Corolla appear to have lost control while trying to avoid a porthole. They both then fell into a swamp. Thank God, none of the passengers perished since they were all saved.”
